Rose Bay Ensuite

Project Description

2014 Bathroom Renovation, Rose Bay, Sydney.

Minosa Design was awarded the KBDi bathroom design of the year 2014 for the design of the Rose Bay Bathroom.

The Brief

  • Open Plan, yet Private
  • Room for Two – Comfortably
  • New & Different in Design
  • Good Lighting Design
  • Hidden Storage
  • Modern & Contemporary

With only three walls to work with once opened, the designer needed to think out side of the box, ultimately another wall was required. The designer chose to create a centre wall to divide the space, thus giving another wall to work with but cleverly the chance to offer privacy to the toilet and the shower. Minosa Design

Standout features

  • Pietra Grey Floor & Wall Tiles
  • Bisazza White Mosaic Tiles
  • Custom Minosa Puddle Basin
  • Concealed Toilet Area
  • Freestanding Bathtub
  • Hidden Walk-in Shower
  • Pendant Light

Cattai Ensuite

Project Description

2014 Ensuite renovation in Cattai, NSW.

The natural light streaming through from the private outdoor courtyard is a key feature in lightening up this stunning black mosaic ensuite as in the  incorporation of the custom made reclaimed timber benchtops and ceiling panelling – bringing the outside elements in.

The real success of this small dark bathroom is the way it has connected with the outdoor space, a personal & private planted out courtyard that you would only ever visit when weeding or pruning, it is now part of the interior and most importantly it feels like you are showering in it. Minosa Design

The Cattai ensuite can also be seen as featured in Australian Home & Garden Magazine and Houzz Australia – Black is anything but bland.

Standout Features

  • Bisazza Black Mosaic Wall Tiles
  • Reclaimed Timber Benchtops
  • Minosa Custom Ovo Basin
  • Custom Matte White Joinery
  • Open Shower
  • Courtyard Feature Window
